Great Warm-Up for the El Tour!

The Silverbell Century is a great warm-up ride for El Tour de Tucson! It comes at a time when your training needs to intensify for the last time before the great event. Ride on a portion of the El Tour route on the northwest side of town, with long stretches of straight flat roads, perfect to practice riding in a group or pace-line.

There are 4 distances to choose from: 97 miles, 81, 67 and 30. Watch for GABA signs indicating all the turns of the course, and where turnaround spots are if you are riding less than the full distance.

This ride includes 3 aid stations loaded up with fruit, water, snacks and sandwich makings, and there will be Eegees sandwiches served at the Finish Point. GABA volunteers will drive the course offering aid in case of mechanical failure, but please carry a cell phone and call 911 in a medical emergency.

REGISTER EARLY FOR THIS EVENT FOR A REDUCED FEE! Online registration will close Wednesday at Midnight, November 5. All mail in registrations need to be received by October 31 in order to qualify for the pre-registration fee, otherwise, same-day registration applies.

The only parking is located in the Tucson Basis North School parking lot located at 5740 E. River Rd Only!!! The school is on the south east corner just east of the QT fuel station.

We will have registration tables at the school; however, As we do not want to negatively impact patrons of the local businesses and residents, please park where our parking lot volunteers tell you to park. If you park other than the designated areas, you may return to a ticket or towed vehicle.

Riders are responsible for any traffic citations assessed.

START TIME: 7:00 AM. Please plan to be off the course by 4:00 PM.
