Rodriguez Touring Bike Bicycle w/ S&S Couplers, Pa...
Author Last Post
I am selling my beautiful Rodriguez Touring Bike. I am the second owner and neither the previous owner nor I ever got to do serious touring with it, thus the PRISTINE condition. In my case, shortly after purchasing it, I had a fair size piece of my right lung removed and it has been somewhat limiting. I still ride but can no longer climb hills with a loaded bike.

It originally cost about $4500 and was well worth that. Since I’ve had it, I’ve added Tubus racks (the best there are in my opinion) front and rear. I’m offering it with brand new Axiom Grand Touring Modular Rear Panniers and Tent/Pad case. Also I’m including a pair of Ortleib Classic Front Panniers and a Louis Garneau Front Bag. The front panniers are used but are in excellent condition. All of these bags are 100% waterproof.

The bike is equipped with S&S couplers and DaVinci cable splitters and can thus be disassembled and packed into the 26”x26”x10” custom travel case (included), allowing it to travel as checked luggage. There are labeled foam covers for all parts of the bike to protect it from scratches or nicks during travel.

Included are all of the paperwork, documents, parts that came with it and the added accessories. These include detailed instructions on disassembly, packing and reassembly. There is also a DVD showing and explaining the entire process.

I am 5’ 7” and it fits me well as you see it in the pictures. I believe it would accommodate a person from 5’ 4” to 5’ 9”.

The added accessories cost around $600-$700 and I’m selling all of this for $3000 and it’s like new.

It is very quiet, even coasting, and the shifts are “butter smooth.” It’s a delight to ride.
